    Cycle to Henners Vineyard!

Big skies, flat roads and abundant wildlife abound on this picturesque cycle route through Pevensey Marshes up to Henners Vineyard.

As part of the Sussex Modern initiative to attract more visitors to the region Cadence Cycle Club has created a series of cycle routes to Sussex Vineyards to encourage people to ditch the car and explore the region by bike.

This cycle starts at Pevensey & Westham railway station, which is on the main Southern Rail line (nine minutes from Eastbourne, or 20 minutes from Hastings). The route winds between hedgerows and bulrushes, and out across the wide open landscape of Pevensey Marshes, with the South Downs stretching out far in the distance.

Enjoy a cool glass of our delicious wine or try one of our cheese & charcuteries boards to fuel up before your onward journey.  Soft drinks, tea and coffee are also available. Full details of the route can be found here.

Rather than the 150,000 bottles of wine we were capable of processing last year, this year and going forward, we’re all set up to create 300,000 bottles if necessary. Fingers crossed for that sunshine and some fabulous years for grape-growing ahead, and they’ll all be full by next harvest!
