
WineryAt Henners we have constructed a purpose built winery to enable us to craft the finest wines. Our cellars and fermentation tanks are temperature controlled to create the perfect conditions for elaboration and maturation, allowing complexity and finesse to develop in the finished wine. Allied to this high technology we use the oldest and most traditional methods that have been used for generations. We have enlisted consultants from Champagne for their experience in blending still base wines in order to seamlessly bring out the individual characters of the three grape varieties. Only the finest juice, or "Cuvee", released from the grape at the lightest pressures is used at Henners in order to maintain the highest quality. After bottling the most priceless ingredient is added: Time. Our first harvest in 2009 was the vintage of the century, producing a large crop of the most wonderfully ripe fruit. The base wines are of outstanding quality, and promise to produce a world class sparkling wine. Henners will be released in 2012 |
